The Glacier Park Lodge Golf Course in East Glacier, just 45 minutes from St. Mary. This course was built by the Great Northern Railway in 1927 and is the oldest grass greens golf course in Montana. This golf course resides within the boundary of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation which is one of the reasons all 9 holes are named after former chiefs of the Blackfeet Nation. The Lee Creek Golf Course in Cardston AB is just 30 minutes north. This new Les Furber 18 hole design golf course nestled in the Lee Creek Valley offers a picturesque view of the mountains, wildlife and natural scenery. Your golf experience here will be most gratifying as they have four tee boxes for each hole to offer a challenge for all level of golfers. This par 72 course also features white sand and multiple water hazards. Check out the unique handmade birdhouses on each hole! Call ahead for a tee time on this popular municipal course. The Waterton Lakes 18-hole Golf Course is challenging, fun, and reminds you of why you started to play the game. This beautiful course is located in Waterton National Park (1 hour drive north of St. Mary) and plays right next to the Southern Alberta Rockies. Like most of the courses in the Rockies, the mountain scenery is often a “hazard” all its own.
